If you’ve been trying to order a dedicated Mac mini or Mac Studio server from us recently, you may have noticed that some configurations are unavailable. Here’s what’s going on.

Apple is experiencing huge demand for both the Mac mini and Mac Studio. That demand is creating a ripple effect across the entire supply chain, and as a hosting provider that depends on purchasing these systems in volume, we’re feeling it too. Current lead times from Apple are up to 2 to 3 months for most configurations.

Why the Wait?

A couple of factors appear to be occurring at once. First, the global supply of memory chips and advanced semiconductors remains tight, with data center and AI workloads consuming a huge share of production capacity.

Second, consumer demand for Mac minis and Mac Studios has surged thanks in large part to OpenClaw and other AI tools. Mac minis have become the go-to hardware for users looking to self host an always-on AI assistant. The trend has been so intense that Mac mini stock has been wiped out across electronics stores and websites.

The combination of constrained chip supply and a massive spike in consumer demand means that everyone, including hosting providers like us, has to wait longer for hardware.

Our website is updated once a day with current model availability. If a configuration you need is showing as unavailable, it’s worth checking back regularly as inventory can change when new shipments arrive, or if another customer cancels service.

We appreciate your patience while we work through the supply constraints. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have questions.
