Mac Mini Vault engineers apply a default configuration to every managed firewall. From there, we work with our customers to define how they want the firewall configured. While the majority of customers have simplistic needs, our certified Cisco and Fortinet engineers can work with you to architect a network design that will meet your needs today and well into the future as you grow.
For complex and specialized configurations, we do offer professional services at our hourly consulting rate.

Create and manage access to your Mac servers by giving our NOC engineers plain english examples of what services need to be accessed by which locations. Our engineers will tailor a specific set of filtering rules and apply them to your firewall. It’s easy to make any changes or additions by opening up a support ticket.
The Managed Firewall service includes a secure VLAN with your own subnet of IP addresses. Each firewall customer is assigned their own VLAN. We can easily add or remove additional servers to your secure VLAN. Please note that adding or removing firewall service from a server will require an IP change.
Protect all of your Mac/Linux servers within a specific data center. A firewall can only protect a Mac that is in the same data center that firewall is located in. For example, a firewall that protects a Mac mini in MKE1 could not be used to also protect a second Mac mini in PHX1.
