About MKE1
Mac Mini Vault is a part of CyberLynk, a data center company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We offer Mac data center services out of CyberLynk’s MKE1 facility, which has three data center build-outs with plenty of room to grow. Our engineers are experienced with macOS and Mac hardware, along with Windows, Linux, Fortigate, and Cisco technologies. Because CyberLynk owns and manages MKE1, we have the flexibility to build our specially engineered Mac mini colocation cabinets for high-density Mac mini hosting.

The Mac minis sit within a specially designed chassis allowing for organization while also sliding to provide easy access for hands-on support. The slots in the chassis are cataloged by specific location, and each slot is assigned:
- Static IPv4 address + IPv6 network
- User-controllable power outlet
- 1 Gbps network switch port
- Traffic graphs in the customer portal
Additional IPv4 addresses are available at an additional cost.
Fiber and Bandwidth
Redundant fiber paths connect MKE1 to diverse, industry-leading bandwidth providers. High-capacity fiber connections are combined with efficient BGP routing equipment powered by Cisco, and the network is optimized with Noction IRP to ensure inbound and outbound traffic takes the quickest route. We are the first and only Mac mini colocation service to offer native IPv6 service.

Security
Security at MKE1 covers both the interior and exterior of the facility.
RFID access control
Physical access is entirely controlled by RFID, with advanced electronic systems that help control access to the building.
IP camera monitoring
The facility is monitored by IP security cameras, and we utilize products and services from CyberLynk sister companies that specialize in the security industry.
Experienced personnel onsite
The Milwaukee data center has experienced personnel onsite, including CyberLynk engineers who work hands-on with the hosted Macs.
Location
An ideal location just 25 minutes from Downtown Milwaukee and 40 minutes from the Illinois border. The Milwaukee data center is conveniently situated away from hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and other natural disasters, in a low-crime area in close proximity to major freeways and intersections. We are proud to call it home.
