Frequently Asked Questions
What is Colocation?
Colocation, colo for short, means that you place the Mac that you own in our secure data center. We supply power, bandwidth, and physical security allowing your Mac to be ‘hosted’ on the internet. You can access its desktop or its command line interface. You can use it for file storage, web & database hosting, an e-mail server, CI/CD build agent, etc. You can configure it anyway you’d like before sending your mini to our data center. You retain ownership of the Mac, and we ‘keep the lights on’.
